Enjoy the great outdoors with the countless trails around the park and whatever your experience level, there are climbing and abseiling lessons available too. Joshua Tree National Park is world-famous for its incredible starry night sky and on a clear moonless night, stargazing is great from almost any spot in the park. Groups such as the Andromeda Society organise frequent stargazing parties at the Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theatre. You could also visit the ‘Skys the Limit’, a non-profit observatory and nature centre that offers public observing sessions almost every Saturday night.
