Sonoma Raceway’s road course includes NASCAR, IndyCar and motorcycle racing or you could enjoy a performance at the world-renowned Green Music Centre on the Sonoma State University campus.
A treat for foodies in Napa would be a visit to the three Michelin star restaurants at Meadowood Resort or the French Laundry (reservations needed well in advance) or take a wander to Oxbow Public Market, an extravaganza of food vendors, artisan cafés and organic produce from local farms. In either wine region, a great way to explore is by hiring a bicycle or you could even enjoy a refreshing paddle in a kayak on the Napa River.
