The Napa Valley Wine Train, one of the most unique Napa restaurants, is housed in an antique refurbished 1915-1917 Pullman Car train that runs over 25 miles of track in the heart of the Napa Valley. The food is crafted by Executive Chef Kelly Macdonald and the train itself has three kitchens on board and a collection of early 20th century rail cars that are pure Americana.
The lounge cars are luxuriously furnished and equipped with picture windows to maximise the view. Guests are invited to explore the train where they may visit the kitchen car to see the chefs in action, the wine tasting bar or the observation deck to enjoy an unobstructed view of the valley. A gourmet lunch or dinner can be enjoyed from one of the traditional carriages (all named after grapes) so you may find yourself taking in the gorgeous views of the valley gliding by in the Merlot or Chardonnay lounge, or from the large glass domed windows of the Champagne Vista Dome.
