From private hikes, 4×4 tours, zip-lining, cycling, rock climbing, rafting and fishing, Yosemite National Park is an outdoor lovers’ paradise! Parking can be an issue especially in the summer, so leave the car and use the free buses (YARTS) that regularly loop the park, hopping off at the regular stops to meander along the many trails and footpaths. To learn about climbing in Yosemite, head over to El Capitan Bridge to have a chat with one of the rangers in the ‘ask a climber’ program operating during the summer. Visit Yosemite Falls, where the upper, middle and lower falls together make up the highest waterfall in California, reaching a breath-taking 2,425 feet. For great photo opportunities, Tunnel View, Half Dome and Mirror Lake cannot be missed and after a long day of activities, finish up with dinner at the famous Majestic Yosemite Hotel (formerly the Ahwahnee Hotel) one of the beautiful and historic hotels of America.
