Close to all the action but set in quieter surroundings, roughly a ten minute drive from Monterey’s popular bustling Cannery Row, the Hyatt Regency is a fantastic alternative offering great value for money. The Hyatt is one of the only hotels within Monterey to offer complimentary WiFi and parking to it’s visitors. The rooms and suites are comfortable and fairly standard, they are set in a number of different buildings across the grounds, some with lovely golf course views. The resort has plenty of facilities for it’s guests to take advantage of, including a spa, fitness centre, heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and the Del Monte golf course. There is live jazz music in the lobby lounge in the evenings, a lively sports bar serving classic American cuisine and a great Tuscan restaurant.
