The history of this quaint Inn dates back to the early 1920’s when the present site was known as “Anderson’s Cafe and Service Station.” After the Anderson’s retired, the little coffee shop stood vacant for a number of years and the present-day Inn was built in 1989 by screenwriter and producer, Rita Lakin. Award-winning local architect Ray Wolf designed the Inn to be perfectly suited for guests, with every room benefiting from extra-thick walls and sound proofing. Each room is uniquely different, some have lofts, some have balconies, some have alcoves, but all of them are charming! The property has wonderful gardens to enjoy with a perfect view of the stunning sunset, a lovely fire pit overlooking the ocean and access down some steps (around 250 feet) to a small but private rocky beach. Situated on St Patricks Point in Trinidad and just twenty minutes drive from the heart of the Redwood National Park, this is the perfect place to base yourself to explore this breath taking part of northern California.
